Checking the color against my pantone swatch book. At this stage, the blue was too dark and opaque...


It's a small run so I add transparent base to the screen and mix...


After a few rounds of mixing in transparent base and test printing I'm finally happy with the light blue...

This print required tight registration so I racked the paper before printing to let each sheet expand, contract, or whatever it wants to do. The temperature in my studio varies and all paper reacts differently especially when ink hits it...

"Shooting" a screen meaning blasting it with a very bright UV light...


All the areas blocked out by the light (black on film) wash away creating a stencil...

Lucky Bunny VS. Courtney Conk Photography

At the end of last year, photographer, Courtney Conk and model, Anhedonia were kind enough to do a photo shoot for me. They went above and beyond the call of duty and I can't recommend them highly enough. With Valentine's Day approaching I thought I'd post some heart related design of mine.

New Shirt

Here's the second of the 3 new shirts I said I'd be releasing back in September. It's a 2-color discharge print of my razor blade Heart design. Just click the image below for more info and pics.

September Art and Shirt Releases

I took my crossbones heart "Love" design and discharge printed it for the first time in white on black sweatshop-free American Apparel tees. This shirt is the first of three new tees I'll be releasing this month.

After dropping the three new shirts it's on to art prints for the rest of the year. At the end of September I'll be releasing my first large format multi-color screen print (I realize it's been a while) so keep watching my blog or join my Mailing List for additional information.
