FEEDBACK FROM A SUCCESSFUL ARTIST

"I find your poster of President Bush with a Hitler moustache offensive.  It's okay for you to not like Bush.  I don't like Obama. I've seen what he has done to the art market. This past year 50 major art galleries in Santa Fe have closed. Obama's big spending and expansion of government has killed the art market.  In my forty years as a fulltime artist I've never seen the art climate this bad...but I don't make image of the president and put a Hitler moustache on him.  If you will look at history Hitler killed 6 million Jews. I don't think Bush or Obama have done this kind of horror. Even if we don't like the man we must honor the office. We must show some respect for the leader of the free world.  Comparing Bush to Hitler is not a good thing. It will not help your career. There are more conservatives that collect art than liberals. With the Bush poster you just lost 60% of your buying public. Probably higher than that."

is that fan mail from thomas kinkade? more conservatives may collect art but i think he's missing the point of who your target audience is with that particular piece.

Really!? HILARIOUS!
I for one, will continue to purchase your art.
Tell this "Experienced Artist" to stick to painting Thomas Kincaid knock-offs in Santa Fe and that the main point of art is to cause reaction.
Cheers!
