NEW LIMITED EDITION SILKSCREEN

I’ll have 4 different limited edition silkscreens on display and available for purchase at the anti-war/pro-peace art show, LA vs War II, in Los Angeles this weekend. The show runs from Sept. 9-11 and features many artists, live shirt printing, interactive exhibits, live painting and a killer line up of DJs. The screen print below is 12”x40” and limited to only 25!

LOOK BACK AND LAUGH - OPENING THIS SATURDAY IN L.A.

I have an art show opening this Saturday at Hold Up Art in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. It's called "Look Back and Laugh" because it's part retrospective, I've been dabbling in stand-up, and I've been doing it DIY for as long as I can remember.

Today I'm showing work and speaking at LACMA and tomorrow my screen pritning co-op is having a fundraiser/party so we can increase the odds of keeping our workspace. There will be drinks, raffles, music, etc. Check it out if you're in L.A!

CHIA MAO, 12-COLOR SCREEN PRINT PROCESS - PART 5

Was really excited to get to the studio and finish this print. Unfortunately I awoke to find my bike with a flat. No way that was stopping me so I walked to the train and then to the studio. Boombox man provided a death metal soundtrack to my morning so all was good. Colors 10 and 11...
