The late Bill Hicks would've been 49 today. Perhaps he's the cowboy riding the bunny in one of my graphics. Or maybe it's me, maybe it's you. Happy Birthday, Bill, you are truly missed.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE HATERS, YOU AREN'T DOING IT RIGHT
Received this today, name withheld....
"just stumbled on to this site and saw your bunny pictures. you should be ashamed of yourself. you are exploiting a totally vulnerable creature of nature for individualistic profit and greed. not to mention the juxtaposition of violence in some scenes that will surely turn children into murdering sociopaths. the world and society are being helped to premature destruction enough without your contributions. whats next, seductive bunny in a black cocktail dress, ears pulled back, hip thrust out, leaning provocatively against a bar looking for the next trick while inhaling a cancer stick and downing three fingers of devil water?"

PAINTING
For years I've messed around with painting and have never had the motivation to finish anything. That has all changed since moving to California back in January. Most of this year I've been in the lab experimenting and feel I'm finally ready to do this. Soooo this month I start painting seriously (whatever that means). It's just something I have to do at this point in my life because I know it's in me. I wanna thank the Clayton Brothers for inspiring and helping me get the ball rolling. I'm gonna document my experiences via blogging so I hope you find them interesting and entertaining.

I'M NOW ON TUMBLR
Lucky Bunny is now on Tumblr because I don't have nearly enough things to distract from what I should be doing.

TEA WITH THE BUNNYMAN - SCREEN PRINT PROCESS - PART 5
Colors: #5 white, #6 matte black, lucky #7 gloss black. I'm really happy with how this print turned out. The inks I'm using don't translate on a monitor which is why I prefer screen printing over digital printing methods such as giclee. Much more work is involved but I think the finished product speaks for itself. Thanks to my friend, Richie, for doing an amazing job on the color separations, Russ for shooting me while printing and my assistant Andi for doing everything I hate doing and cleaning up after me.
Only 30 of these prints will be available Thursday, 8/5, 1PM EST in the Lucky Bunny Shop. Your support is greatly appreciated as I'll be taking all money from sales and putting it back into The Bunnyman project to bring you more Art.
